APRIL

SUNDAY 1st: Dave J leads the way with this 2* walk at Llanarmon in the Clwydians, partly following the Offa's Dyke path.

SUNDAY 8th: Join Brian on this 1* walk at Petty Pool, starting from Blakemere craft centre.

SUNDAY 15th: Tessa will be leading this 3* walk in Snowdonia.

FRIDAY 20th: Gaynor is organising a meal at the popular Pant-yr-Ochain, near Wrexham.

SUNDAY 22nd: Join Marjorie for this informative and jolly 2* walk along the North Wales Path, from Llandulas.

SUNDAY 29th: Emma takes us on this moderate 2* walk to Cilcain, starting near Loggerheads.

SATURDAY 5th to MONDAY 7th: Paula has arranged a weekend trip away, staying at Broad Haven youth hostel in Pembrokeshire.

SUNDAY 13th: Join Dave H for a 2* walk from Henllan to Denbigh, via Galch Hill.

THURSDAY 17th - SOCIAL: Cheryl invites us to a wine tasting evening at Scatchards (wine merchants).

SUNDAY 20th: Jon leads the way for this 1* linear walk from Bangor on Dee (Bangor-is-y-Coed) to Halton.

THURSDAY 24th - EVENING WALK: Graham starts the evening walks with this walk at Wepre park, near Connah's Quay.

SUNDAY 27th: Join Rhian for this 2* walk from Trefriw in the Conwy valley to Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant.


SUNDAY 3rd: Marjorie takes us to the Great Orme in Llandudno for a 1* walk. Great coastal views, a tea shop and the possibility of fish and chips at the end.

THURSDAY 7th - EVENING WALK: Mo leads this walk, meeting at the gates of the Duke's estate near the Overleigh roundabout.

SUNDAY 10th: Graham leads the way for this 2* walk at Llanasa, visiting Trelogan and Coed-y-Garth nature reserve.

TUESDAY 12th - SOCIAL: Come and join Dianne for this evening of acoustic music at Alexander's in Chester.

THURSDAY 14th - EVENING WALK: Gaynor leads the way for this evening stroll from Caergwrle.

SUNDAY 17th: Wyn leads a 3* mountain walk in Snowdonia.

THURSDAY 21st - EVENING WALK: Paul leads this walk from the Shady Oak pub to Beeston castle.

SUNDAY 24th: Dave and Helen lead this 2* walk north of Whitchurch.

THURSDAY 28th - EVENING WALK: Join Marjorie for this evening walk at Hockenhull Platts (south of Tarvin).
