JANUARY

SUNDAY 7th: Paula begins the year with a 2* walk from Llantysilio.

SUNDAY 14th: Rhian is leading a 2* walk in the Clwydians, south west of Nannerch.

FRIDAY 19th - SOCIAL: Gaynor is arranging a Chinese meal at the Eastern Sheraton restaurant in Wrexham.

SUNDAY 21st: Jon will be taking us on a 2* walk at Llansilin, in the peaceful countryside west of Oswestry.

WEDNESDAY 24th - SPECIAL EVENT: Dianne is arranging an evening of ice skating, at the Winter Wonderland of Chester zoo.

SUNDAY 28th: Join Marjorie for this informative 2* walk in the Peckfortons, starting from the candle factory at Burwardsley.

SUNDAY 4th: Join Dave J for a 2* walk off the beaten track at Llanfair Talhaiarn in Conwy county borough.

FRIDAY 9th: Dave H invites us to the Grosvenor museum in Chester, to view his slide show "Cycling in the Himalayas - Tales of the Extreme".

SUNDAY 11th: Dave H leads this 2* walk from Prestatyn to Craig Fawr, following the old railway route to Dyserth and returning along a ridge following the Offa's Dyke path.

SUNDAY 18th: Join Marjorie for a jolly 2* walk at Ffrith.

SUNDAY 25th: Dave E leads the way on a 2* walk in North Wales.


SUNDAY 4th: Graham leads this 2* circuit, taking in Llanasa, Trelogan and Pen - y - Ffordd nature reserve.

SUNDAY 11th: Join Wyn for this challenging 3* walk in Snowdonia.

THURSDAY 15th: Come along and join Jo for a fun evening of bowling at Chester Megabowl.

Join Helen for a 1* walk at Holywell, visiting the site of the old Holywell racecourse.
